Yajna ijyO mahEjyachcha

Yajna ijyO mahEjyachcha kratu: satram satAm gati: | 
sarvadarsee vimuktAtmA sarvajnO jnAnamuttamam || 


Yajna: -- He is of the form of Yajnas, yajna being the sacrifice of the worldly life into the divine life. 

Ijya: -- Whatever is offered in yajnas to various deities He alone receives them ultimately. 

MahEjya: -- Yajnas offered to Him directly as worship of love pleases Him the most and those are awarded moksha. 

Kratu: -- The yajnas accompanied by Yupa are called Kratus. He is already called Dharmayupa. All public and private sacrifices done with the universal good in mind are His form. 

Satram -- The big form social yajna which involves many men and many officiators lasting for many days is called satram. He is of the form all public spirited pure acts of worship. 

SatAmgati: -- He is the exclusively only Gati (Devata, Place of surrender) for those who earnestly want Moksha. -- Sri Adisankara.

Sarvadarsee -- He oversees both here and hereafter, pravrutti dharma and nivrutti dharma. 

VimuktAtmA -- He is the ever-free Atman in all. 

Sarvajna: -- He knows all and each and everything. 

JnAnamuttamam -- He is the supreme-most excellent wisdom.
