EkO naika: sava: ka: kim yattadpadam anuttamaam | 
lOkabandhu: lOkanAthO mAdhavO bhaktavatsala: || 


Eka: -- He is the One, none to compare with, none to enumerate along and He is unique. 

Naika: -- Even though He is the One He is also the many. This is beyond ordinary understanding. 

Sava: -- He is this one, 'Sa:' viz., Sri Krishna standing here and also He is 'va:' - the inner Atman residing in all beings. 

Ka: -- He is Ka, Blissful Brahman in everything. 

Kim -- 'Kim' means enquiry, querying after, searching. He is the ideal to be searched after. 

Yat -- He is the readiness to protect devotees. 

Tat -- Om Tat Sat are the three sacred names of Brahman. Tat indicates He gives Brahma Jnana and increases Bhakti of devotees. 

Padam anuttamam -- He is the greatest and only goal to be reached. 

LOkabandhu: -- He is the closest relative and all types of relationships to all the beings in the world. 

LOkanAtha: -- He is the world-master to whom everything belongs. 

MAdhava: -- His care and mercy towards the Jivas are assured and made stronger and stronger by the ever-presence of Sri, the Divine Mother in Him. 

Bhaktavatsala: -- His joy when the devotees come to Him or any Jiva turns to Him is so special and brimming.
