vinayO jaya: satyasandhO dAsArha: sAtvatAm pati: ||
SOmapa: -- Sacred draughts are offered to Him.
Amrutapa: -- He is the drink of immortality. Drinking is meditating on Him.
SOma: -- He is the most sacred essence in sacrifices. All our efforts are born out of yearning and to Him is due the greatest yearning.
Purujit -- He conquers different beings differently; some by beauty, some by mercy, some by wisdom and some by sheer grace.
Purusattama: -- He is firmly established in great sadhus like Hanuman.
Vinaya: -- He subdues whatever forces are against. He is the very form of humility.
Jaya: -- He likes to give victory over Him to His devotees in duels of Bhakti.
Satyasandha: -- He never fails in His promise to the devotees.
DAsArha: -- He alone receives our soul-dedication and He bestows His whole being to Bhaktas.
SAtvatAmpati: -- He was born in Sattvatas. He gave sattvata tantra, a great work of devotion.
